SNAILS in the TERRIUM 

At Snails in the terrium, we offer the finest garden snails for your indoor terrium space. Slow down and enjoy the peaceful presence of these gentle creatures in your terrium garden. All of my snails are friendly toward humans. They will come toward you when terrium is opened. I do not touch them...but they like to be fed snacks on a pair of tweezers. My snails will greatly increase your viewing pleasure day or night. Got a plant terrium with gnomes and fairies?? My little friends are ready to be with you in their forever home. Get to know your pet(s). If purchasing make sure your terrium has breathing holes on top of. They like romaine lettuce, watermelon, cucumber, celery, cooked carrots. Nothing with salt...ever. You can buy snail food at local pet store, require a cuttle fish bone for their shell growth.  They will need a nanno micro bowl...so they dont drown in water bowl. Fill bowl up half way everyday. They are a clean critters and love to be misted with water spray bottle twice a day. They sometimes hide or hibernate...this happens periodically. They just a little coaxing with spray bottle. They can hibernate up to a year...but usually come out in a day or two. The bottom of terrium should have 1 inch of fish gravel and two inches of coconut substrate. You can add gnomes and fairies to add a little pizzazz to terrium. Just make sure that you wash them in soapy water  and rinse them good. Cleaning the inside glass of terrium should be done twice a week...just water and paper towels. Dont forget your snail is a hermaphrodite( they can pick what sex they want to be). If ordering more than one...they can breed easily. Keep a look out for eggs. They can lay over a hundred at one time. Please dispose them immediately. They should be frozen before disposed. Snails can become a hazard to the garden or woods nearby. If you do not feel that is right thing to do please send the babies back to me. I will raise them and find them a forever home. Be careful about putting plants in terrium...make sure they are not poisonous to them. Send me pictures.
